Melina is a native Floridian who has dedicated more than 14 years to the healthcare industry. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of South Florida, graduating with honors, and went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of South Alabama.
Melina is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and The Menopause Society.
With a passion for hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, and functional medicine, Melina takes a whole-body, individualized approach to patient care. Rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms, she works to understand the underlying factors affecting each patient’s health and develops personalized treatment plans designed to support overall wellness, vitality, and quality of life.
Melina has also completed extensive training in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) therapies for both aesthetic and musculoskeletal applications. She is a certified BOTOX® and dermal filler provider and has extensive experience in aesthetic, regenerative, and anti-aging medicine.
Together with Ann Marie Catania, CRNA, Melina co-founded and managed Academy for Advanced Practice, a national recruiting, consulting, and training company. Through the Academy, they have consulted with medical practices and trained healthcare practitioners in aesthetic, regenerative, and anti-aging treatments.
Above all, Melina is passionate about providing exceptional, personalized care and helping patients feel their best at every stage of life. She resides in Sarasota and, outside of medicine, enjoys traveling, playing the cello, and reading.
